We process personal data in line with applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Al Muhaseb Technologies L.L.C-FZ is a free-zone company licensed by Meydan Free Zone, Dubai (Licence No. 2650555.01), with its registered office at Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, UAE.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, company name, Tax Registration Number (TRN), and login credentials.
• Financial Data: Sales invoices, expense records, bank transactions, journal entries, and tax calculations that you enter into the platform.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
• Communication Data: Records of correspondence when you contact our support team.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our accounting and tax compliance services.
• To process your financial transactions and generate reports, including VAT returns and Corporate Tax estimates.
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• To communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support.
• To comply with legal obligations, including UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats.

4. Data Security

We apply the following measures to protect your data: encryption in transit via TLS and encryption at rest (AES-256) provided by our hosting infrastructure; row-level security in our database to segregate each company's data, together with least-privilege access controls; automated, encrypted backups; and automated database security monitoring to detect misconfigurations, which we review and remediate. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 Type II-certified cloud platforms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; we work continuously to protect your data and improve our controls.

5. Data Retention

While your account is active, we retain your data to provide the Service. When your account closes, you may export your data during the 30-day window described in our Terms of Service, after which we may delete it from our systems. As the taxable person, you are responsible for keeping your own financial records for the period required by UAE tax law (generally up to 7 years).

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties. We may share your information only with: authorized team members within your organization who have been granted access; trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under data-processing terms to help us provide and improve certain features of the Service; and government authorities when required by law (e.g., FTA audit requests with proper legal authorization). Some of these providers may process your data outside the UAE; where we transfer data outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection. Your data is not used to train any third-party models.

7. Your Rights

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are used only in aggregate form to improve our service.
